Some of the industry's hottest creative experts will be joining us this year! Many will be teaching workshops, offering demos, and mingling with attendees. Meet your favorite expert for some face-to-face inspiration at ScrapFest 2012! Here’s just a sample of who you could meet.

Tim Holtz
Ranger

Tim Holtz is the Creative Director for Ranger Industries, one of the leading manufacturers of innovative inks, paints, and embossing products. Tim plays an integral part in the development and design of cutting-edge paper-crafting products. He has teamed up with various companies like Advantus, Tonic Studios, Stampers Anonymous, Sizzix, and Core’dinations to create unique products that work hand-in-hand with Ranger’s extensive lines. As a well-known designer, Tim travels across the country and internationally to educate and introduce people to his world of ink techniques, clever projects, and much more. His books, A Compendium of Curiosities, Volumes I & II are filled with creative and inspiring ideas for beginner paper-crafters and beyond. He truly lives his motto that, “in a world where the moments of our lives can be captured and created in art of the everyday, it’s important it reflects our own unique personality. Heidi Swapp
Pink Paislee

Heidi is known in the craft industry for her innovative style, trend-setting product ideas, and her recognizable, fanciful handwriting. Whether she is spray painting on her scrapbook pages or creating embellishments that are completely see-through, her boundary-pushing concepts have always made her “the one to watch”. Heidi says scrapbooking is a lifestyle—it’s something in the forefront of her mind as she lives each day looking for stories or snippets of history she wants to capture. Her passion is capturing the memories and “sprinkling them with fabulous” in the form of glitter, color, ribbons, ruffles, and bows! Heidi encourages everyone to tell their story, create to remember, and along the way, make pretty stuff—every day!


Teresa Collins
Teresa Collins Designs

Teresa is the owner and designer of Teresa Collins Designs, designing the latest and greatest products in the scrapbooking industry. She has been featured on HSN, QVC, DIY Network, and is a regular guest on Channel 4’s “Good Things Utah” television shot and Craft TV online network. Her work, articles, and products have been published in all of the industry’s major publications and she has traveled around the world sharing her passion and love for all things chic, creative, and trend-setting. Teresa creates and designs products with timeless style, chic appeal, and that make it easier to document life in an artistic way. A self-proclaimed “girly girl” (with a love for gems, pink and black, and funky jewelry), Teresa loves sharing her passion and love of journaling, interior design, trying new crafty techniques, taking photos, and capturing life!


Elizabeth Kartchner
American Crafts

Elizabeth is the 2007 Creating Keepsakes Scrapbooker of the Year and author of the recently released book, “52 More Scrpabooking Challenges”. She worked closely with American Crafts’ design team to produce the Dear Lizzy collections—five unique lines that strike a balance between American Crafts’ clean, vivid shapes and patterns and her feminine, playful style.


Kelly Goree
BasicGrey

Kelly lives in the beautiful horse country of Kentucky with her husband and three rambunctious boys. She was introducted to scrapbooking in 2000, just after her oldest son was born, and it quickly became a favorite hobby, and then an all-out passion! She’ll tell you if she’s not out chasing her boys, you can find her scrapping. Kelly is a full-time staff designer and instructor for BasicGrey, where she is a driving force in designing for classes, trade shows, catalogs, and special events. In 2006, she had the honor of being a Memory Makers Master and has over 500 published works that can be seen in Creating Keepsakes, Scrapbooks Etc., Paper Trends, Scrapbooking & Beyond, and other scrapbooking and paper arts publications.


Jessica Sprague
JessicaSprague.com

A renowned digital and paper crafter, Jessica got her start in scrapbooking in 2004. She quickly became known in the scrapbooking community as a Photoshop expert, and had dozens of pages published in scrapbooking magazines. In 2006, she won both the Creating Keepsakes Hall of Fame and the Memory Makers Masters contests, and joined the Creating Keepsakes team as a Contributing Editor. She wrote a monthly column for the magazine until 2009, and has authored four books on paper-crafting and family history. The mother of two children, she currently resides in North Carolina and teaches online digital and paper-crafting classes at JessicaSprague.com.


Stephanie Hunt
Bella Blvd.

Stephanie is the owner and designer of Bella Blvd. For as long as she can remember, Stephanie has been dreaming of designing scrapbooking products and seeing how scrapbookers around the world could play with her designs. She established Bella Blvd in Wauwatosa, WI, and chose the name based on her Italian heritage and her time spent studying abroad in Florence, Italy. Every day, she heard “Ciao Bella!” over and over again, and chose the “Blvd” part of the name because she wanted the logo to be a street sign! Since establishing Bella Blvd, she says not a single day has gone by that has felt like work! Besides designing and scrapbooking, Stephanie loves puppies, stripes and polka dots, kettle corn, Mac computers, pasta, the color pink, traveling around the world, photography, decorating, and a whole lot more!


Joy McDonnell
EK Success Brands

Joy is the founder and Education Director of the Spotted Canary School at EK Success Brands, as well as a national crafting spokesperson and host of Crafting at the Spotted Canary on PBS. She has also hosted the television series Greeting from DIY, appeared on DIY Scrapbooking, Paint, Paper, and Craft!, and featured in Better Homes and Gardens. As a young child, Joy could be found crafting with all of the scraps and leftover materials in her house. She comes from a big family, so making something old into new, being frugal, and creating something herself is what she is used to. Joy loves to teach, share, and learn all about crafts. She says owning a scrapbooking store with her sister in northern Virgina was one of her best experiences ever—the connections she made with her customers still inspires her to be the best crafter possible and to think creatively.


Maggie Holmes
Studio Calico

A scrapbooker since high school, Maggie is passionate about scrapbooking and loves the fact that she can record all of her special family memories and create art at the same time! She currently designs for Studio Calico and is also on the Creating Keepsakes Dream Team. Her inspiring layouts and ideas can be found on her website at www.maggieholmesdesign.com. She lives in Arizona where she is a professional photographer and mother of four amazing children. She feels blessed to share her talent with others and capture meaningful photos for her clients. Maggie loves to read, organize, and decorate her home. Always juggling many projects at once, when Maggie gets a quiet moment, it’s usually spent dreaming up the next project (while snuggling with her babies, of course).


Cathie Allan
Hampton Art

Cathie has been teaching rubber stamping for approximately 30 years. It all began when she worked in a family-owned, educational store, where she introduced the art of rubber stamping and scrapbooking. It did not take very long before the rubber stamping and scrapbooking side of the store grew to equal the size of the teacher supplies! At the closing of the store, Cathie was offering 180 different rubber stamping classes. Since 1995, Cathie's original techniques and projects have been published in many publications, including Scrap & Stamp Arts, Canadian Scrapbooker Magazine (where she served as a contributing editor), and two books called Canadian Scrapbookers Basics. She has been an instructor on numerous stamping cruises, as well as classes in Canada, the United States, Paris, and Africa. Cathie demonstrates for Clearsnap (known for the ColorBox line of ink pads) on a regular basis, and developed a positioner/repositioner tool for the stamper. For Cathie, rubber stamping is more than a job—it is a passion!


Kathy Gallagher
Hampton Art

Kathy has been with Hampton Art for 10 years. In the past three years, she has taken on the role of Creative Direction with responsibilities in design direction, product development, and education. Kathy has coordinated partnerships with some of the top scrapbooking companies like Doodlebug Design, 7gypsies, and Graphic 45, to name a few. Kathy was a key part in developing the Ditto line of journaling and scrapbooking memories in a fast, easy, on-the-go way.


Jackie Wamhoff
Inky Antics

Jackie is the founder and creative director of Inky Antics. She has been involved in rubber stamping for nearly 15 years and still loves it. She says, "I can’t draw at all, but stamping allows me to express my artistic side. There are so many creative possibilities to explore with stamps, and they are a great complement to any scrapbooker’s arsenal." As a former middle school teacher, Jackie enjoys demonstrating and teaching classes across the country. When she’s not traveling, she collaborates with Inky Antics’ artists, maintains the company’s online presence, and develops new products such as the popular HoneyPOP collection.


Lisa Pace
Maya Road/author

Lisa’s first book, Delight in the Details, was published in 2010. In 2011, she collaborated with Pink Persimmon to release a vintage-inspired stamp line called the Antiquated Collection. In 2012, her second book, Delight in the Seasons, was published. She currently is the Special Projects Coordinator for Maya Road and is working on her third book, scheduled to be released in 2014. Lisa was also chosen as one of five master scrapbookers in Martha Stewart’s 2007 scrapbooking contest, and was chosen as a 2008 Memory Makers Master. Her work has been published in major scrapbooking magazines and numerous idea books. When she is not teaching mixed-media classes and online workshops, Lisa enjoys being at home in Texas with her husband, daughters, and three dogs.


Pat Niemuth
Northwoods Rubber Stamps

Pat is the owner of Northwoods Rubber Stamps, which is celebrating its 18th year in business! She teaches classes locally and nationally, and is excited to be teaching and doing demonstrations at ScrapFest again this year to show off the many new fall designs Northwoods has to offer. In addition, she’s excited to show fun blending techniques using watercolor paper that will make everyone feel like an artist!


Margaret Young
Pinecone Press

Margaret lives in Lake Arrowhead, CA, with her husband, Frank, and dog, Blue. While she is inspired by the beauty of her surroundings, her biggest source of inspiration is her family. Margaret has been scrapbooking for over 12 years, and what started as a hobby quickly became one of the true joys of her life. She now has the opportunity to share her passion and knowledge with other scrapbookers through her website and the workshops she teaches. For the last eight years, she has been teaching at a variety of scrapbooking stores throughout southern California, where she is amazed at the talent, creativity, and kindness of the people she gets to “play” with. Margaret says scrapbooking is all about capturing life’s special moments, preserving memories, and having a lot of fun in the process. It’s about celebrating friends, family, and life!


Kimber McGray

Always a crafter of some kind, Kimber started scrapbooking seven years ago and has never looked back. “Obsessed” would be a mild way of describing her love of paper-crafting! Over the past four years, Kimber’s work has been published in magazines like Memory Makers, Creating Keepsakes, BHG Scrapbooking Etc., Scrapbook Trends, Cards, CardMaker,and Scrapbooks and Cards Today, as well as featured in different idea books. Her work has also appeared in major ad campaigns for We R Memory Keepers and Core’dinations, and she was named a 2007 Creating Keepsakes Hall of Fame winner. Kimber has authored four books—Scrapbook Secrets, Remember This (co-author), 175 Fresh Card Ideas, and 100 Fresh and Fun Handmade Cards. She enjoys working with all different aspects of the industry and is currently designing for Jillibean Soup and The Card Kitchen. She lives in Indiana with her husband, Bill, and two children (Andrew and Laura).


Jill Yegerlehner
Jillibean Soup

Jill is the founder and owner (or the “Big Bean”) of Jillibean Soup. She started paper-crafting in 1999 when her family gave her scrapbooking products as a wedding gift. She wasn’t too keen on getting started, but once she did, she was hooked! She turned her love and passion into a full-time job and loves designing Jillibean Soup products. When she has time to scrap, Jill admits to being completely addicted to punches, buttons, and all things kraft. She lives in Ohio with her husband, Eric, and three girls (Leah, Kami, and Brooke). In her spare time, she enjoyes traveling, photography, spinning, trying new restaurants, scrapping with friends, shoe shopping, and her secret splurge—reading tabloid magazines!


Kelly Marie Alvarez
Lawn Fawn

Kelly Marie owns and operates Lawn Fawn, along with her husband, Mike, and friend, Erica. Her love for crafting started at a very young age, making greeting cards using crayons and notebook paper. Since then, she has developed a love for stamping and cute papers. Kelly Marie continues to craft while studying at the University of California, San Diego, where she majored in biochemistry and music. She loves to spread joy and crafty knowledge through the Lawn Fawn blog and is inspired by interacting with crafters around the world. Though Lawn Fawn began with clear stamps, Kelly Marie is happy to be expanding into paper, stickers, and cord. She hopes Lawn Fawn products make someone’s day a little bit brighter!


Jodi Stacey
Simple Stories

Ever since Jodi was a little girl, she had a love for anything that had to do with paper, stickers, stamps, and creating. Her dream job was to work at a stationery store with lots and lots of paper. Although not a stationery store, she still feels that her dream has come true! Jodi launched her teaching career at her local scrapbooking store in 1998. Since then, she has taught project and layout classes and has inspired creativity from Australia to Canada and all over the United States. Jodi lives in Utah with her two children, Korbin (9) and Kenzington (7), and their out-of-control golden retriever, Riley. It’s the simple things that give Jodi her greatest pleasures—enjoying a bike ride to the park with her kids, four-wheeling in the mountains with her family, and a good movie with a bucket of popcorn!


Wendy Senger
Tattered Angels

Wendy is the inventor of Glimmer Mist and CEO of Tattered Angels. A long-time scrapbooker, she felt the need for an easy-to-use spray product that could add a special glimmer to her own projects. She started by mixing bottles in her kitchen and soon shared her new products with the owners of a few scrapbooking stores. When they couldn’t keep the few colors she carried in stock, she knew she had a winner! With no experience in manufacturing, warehousing, and product development, she enlisted some of her closest friends, rented some warehouse space, started mixing colors, and teaching people the benefits and techniques of misting. And the rest is history! Tattered Angels continues to grow and develop new products that can be found on six continents. Wendy is the mom to three fabulous kids and loves to share her passion for all that is “mist-able”!


Marie Browning

For more than 20 years, Marie has inspired countless crafters internationally with her vast knowledge of products and techniques. She is the best-selling author of nearly 30 creative living books, with over 2 million books in print worldwide. Marie has also taught classes, demonstrated at tradeshows, appeared on TV and in videos, has created designs for various magazines, and operates her own company, Marie Browning Creates™. She is a design member of the Crafts and Hobby Association (CHA), a past board member of the Society of Craft Designers (SCD), and was selected in 2004 by Craftrends trade publication as a “Top Influential Industry Designer”. Marie currently works as the design consultant for Tombow, where she encourages everyone to be creative!


Bonnie Krebs
Art Impressions

Bonnie is the founder and exclusive artist for Art Impressions Rubber Stamps. Established in 1987, Bonnie has designed thousands of images and dozens of diverse themes. From the comical Golden Oldies and crazy Girlfriends to lovable characters and beautiful Watercolor, her style is unique and innovative. In addition to being a sought-after stamping instructor, she is a licensed artist and published illustrator.


Joey Otlo
Bazzill

As a mother of two, and previous scrapbook store owner, Joey has over 12 years experience in the scrapbook industry and calls Bazzill her “home away from home”. She infuses her own personal style into every page she creates, and is also inspired by photography, home décor, and home improvement projects. She sees herself as a “simple scrapbooker”, sharing the stories of those who live in her photos.


Kris Sylvester
Bo-Bunny

Seriously addicted to creating beautiful things, Kris is a key player in Bo-Bunny’s product development and project design. She also coordinates the 25-member international design team featured on the Bo-Bunny blog. With her talent for detail, Kris is a master at fussy cutting and always has a project close by. Her husband and two sons are experts at fun and adventure, providing her with plenty of material to scrapbook!


Vicki Bently
Bo-Bunny

Vicki is Bo-Bunny’s “wonder woman”—you have never seen anyone juggle as many things as she can! In addition to scrapbooking the accomplishments of her four children and husband, she has kept the Bo-Bunny staff running smoothly for over 12 years. Vicki’s enthusiasm is evident in her vocabulary as well as her scrapbooking style. In fact, the papers in her namesake paper collection, Vicki B., feature a few of her notable phrases like “fabuloso”, “bazillion”, and “florilicious”. Get a prize if you catch her inventing new expressions during her classes!


Lindsay Moore
Carta Bella

Lindsay has been in the scrapbooking industry for the past 12 years as Director of Sales for three high-profile manufacturers. He just recently helped launch another new company, Carta Bella Paper. Lindsay has traveled extensively and has worked with consumers, retailers, and sales reps, demonstrating product and teaching scrapbooking classes (filled with fun, prizes, and a ton of enthusiasm!).


Charee Filimoehala
Graphic 45

Charee is Director of Customer Service and Design Team Coordinator for Graphic 45. Charee, her sister, and mother own and operate the award-winning scrapbook and paper-crafting company. She loves working with and around creative people and products—not to mention she likes her co-workers (her mom and sister!) quite a bit. She spends her days working with friendly stores and the talented Graphic 45 design team.


Sue Kendall
Simple Stories

A creative spirit has always been a part of Sue’s life! From her start in dance as a young girl to being a part of a competitive dance team that traveled the U.S., Sue has always had so many memories to preserve. She did so by saving all of the mementos and photos to create scrapbooks with her sister. After her first child was born in 1993, Sue attended her first crop and knew she had found a way to preserve her memories in a way she loved! She designs for Simple Stories and has created many projects, cards, and layouts for CHA shows, Scrapbook USA, and MemoryWorks retreats, and most recently designed a two-page layout that was taught to a class of over 600 scrapbookers in South Africa! She is a wife of 24 years to her husband, Ty, and mom to three very active and happy children. Sue loves to cheer on her kids at sporting events and spends any free time she has with her family camping, reading, and of course, scrapbooking!


Margie Romney-Aslett
Bazzill

Margie is a daughter, sister, wife, friend, mother, scrapbooker, teacher, and designer, but if you asked her, she would say, "I'm just a girl." She started scrapbooking after the birth of her first child 25 years ago. She has been part of the industry over the years as a product designer and has taught all over the U.S. and world. She loves sharing her creativity with others and meeting other people who have the same passion for paper-crafting as she does. If you have ever taken one of her classes, you know she is full of energy, laughs, and fun! Margie is currently the Art Director for Bazzill, runs an online kit club (The Girls' Loft) with her daughters, and helps coordinate Spark, a creative event for women. Margie has four beautiful children--two adult daughters and two teenage boys--who she says keep her hip to the latest trends. She also is a girlie girl who loves the color pink, a great pedicure, and putting together a beautiful outfit from head to toe!

Cynthea is the Creative Director and owner of Doodlebug Design. She has been designing and creating fresh, whimsical product for the scrapbooking and paper-crafting industry since 2000. Lily Bee Designs

Kristen is living her dream as owner and designer of Lily Bee Design. It all started when she began working at her local scrapbooking store back in 1996 where she instantly became passionate about scrapbooking. Since that time, she has managed two scrapbooking stores, created and instructed scrapbooking classes, and owned an online kit club. Her ultimate goal was to learn design and start her own paper company, and in 2009 her dream finally came true when Lily Bee Design debuted. She is a self-taught graphic designer and loves to continue to learn about design. Most importantly, she is a mother to three darling little boys and a wife of 11 years.
